The process of thought was not with me by the end of this week.
Between having to wake to a blaring alarm,
getting two little one's dressed, brushed, and fed
I had no mental capacity to dress myself.

I know that I would not get the award for nailing this look
but I do like the way it turned out.
I didn't have to stand in my closet and think for to long
and at the point I was on Thursday
I could easily ended up in something really awful.
See all those guilty pleasure hours I used
during the summer paid off.
I don't have to even think for myself anymore.
Okay, I am only kidding, well partly anyway.

Love your version! It's nice to have something to look at for an idea and put your own spin on it. The leopard flats are so perfect with the rest of the outfit! Have a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favorite outfits on pinterest and I love your interpretation of it. I totally understand you--waking up to an alarm after months of just waking up whenever is absolutely painful! I can barely function at the end of the week. Bless you for having the energy to take care of a husband and two little ones. I always wonder how moms do it! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love your version, it's perfect, and those flats r adorable!
ReplyDeleteI also have that photograph in my inspiration folder! (Anouk Lepere for J.Crew 3-4 years ago? Still as dreamy as ever). Love your version, as it's both flattering and a lot more wearable.
ReplyDeletei love the above comment because i thought that photo looked j.crew! this is another stunner of an outfit, great laying pieces and the white jeans just make it so crisp, love the addition of the leopard print ballet flats, can you believe i don't own any yet? working on it.

Interesting. White pants for the colored pants challenge. Who am I to throw stones? I wore a skirt. And the bottom line is "look stunning."

ReplyDeleteHey, white is a color! And while I like the Pinterest look, I think your translation of it is very sharp, better than the original.
