Plan B

Introducing.... Plan B

Inspired by...
this image on Pinterest

(I had to laugh when I realized that I unconsciously mimicked the image pose.)

I decided to mix it up a bit and add a scarf.
I LOVE this scarf.
It has a terrific print of carousel horses on it.
I took a picture of just the scarf
but accidentally deleted the wrong image
so I will have to post another picture
the next time I wear it.
The scarf is silk and I picked it up for $2.99.

The first day back to school went well.
It was chaotic, because of Otto starting school.
I had to leave the middle school and race over to
his elementary school for orientation.
Than back to the middle school to teach.
Than over to pick up Ava from daycare
and back home to pick up my mom and Otto
for his Open House.
Than back home to put them to bed
and read through and fill out all of the paperwork
for Otto to turn in the next day.
I fell into bed that night and went right to sleep from
all of the day's activities so that was a blessing
after a crazy day.

Dress: H&M; Scarf: Thrifted, Saver's; Boots: DSW, Clearance; Belt: Thrifted, Goodwill

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Julie

  1. I love the inspiration outfit and your interpretation! I've been inspired to find myself a caramel-colored pair of tall boots. :)

  2. Great inspiration! I love how you did the scarf with the belt. I always see this look, but it's with a longer scarf and it just looks weird to me. The short scarf looks awesome!

Miss M started school yesterday and I was exhausted from all the paperwork too!
