A Second Try, Holiday Edition

I cannot thank all of you enough for your
kind words to me for my post yesterday.
I sometimes forget how cathartic it can be to
just
write from my heart.

As much as I adore fashion and styling when the
shadows creep in there isn't much that I take
joy in. I so appreciate your kindness. It helps me
to have a better perspective for how our lives
are tied together.

We have never met, but I consider
you all to be my friends.
I care about what is going on in your lives
and I am reminded that each of you
care about mine as well.

Thank you so much!

So let's talk fashion.

I last wore this dress here and I hated it.
Actually, I loved it before I took pictures
of it and than I hated it. The proportions
were off and I felt matronly.

I have decided to test drive holiday ensembles
so I pulled the dress from my closet for another
go around. The burn out
velvet is just gorgeous when it catches the light.

This time I added a belt to define
my waist, since this was one of the areas that
was lacking the first go around.

Than my faux fur shrug.
I have only worn this shrug twice
and for looking at these pictures I need to be
wearing it a lot more!
I LOVE IT!

A statement necklace and bracelet add more drama
to amp up the entire outfit.

A little high drama make-up and
a lovely
holiday it will be.

I am not sure if this will be the one but I have a new
appreciation for my dress!

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Julie
