She Giveth Back...Inspired

When: Tuesday, August 16

So, as you can see, I have plaid shorts again!
I was very excited to have them back living in my closet.
My sister decided that she didn't like the way that they fit after all.
I happily took them home with me only after assuring her
that if she wanted to wear them that she was welcome to whenever she wanted.

My outfit is inspired by this picture...

I missed posting for Inspiration Monday on Monday so
I am linking up with Two Birds today.
I want white pants but I have yet to find a pair thrifting so
I played on the inspiration picture
by switching the plaid shirt for plaid shorts and the white pants for a white shirt.
I have been in a sloppy mood lately,
as you probably already figured out from the last
few posts, but I am going to be all decked out again very shortly so I am
trying to get my fill of wearing whatever
I feel like wearing however I feel like wearing it.

Glisten Mesh Peep Toe Flat

Fall has been hinting of it's return with cool mornings
and temperatures only in the low 80's.
It has been the most perfect weather possible.
I always find myself laughing when the summer begins to turn into fall.
We go from sweltering in summer's heat to feeling chilly in the low 80's.
In spring it can be in the 60's and we are running around in shorts and t-shirts,
but after summer's heat 80's feel cool.
Otto and Ava have been wearing coats to play outside in the morning
because they are "cold".
I have been enjoying downing long sleeves again with skirts or shorts.
It has actually been a terrific exercise in figuring out how to
extend my summer clothes into fall.
This is going to be a time saver once I am back to
work in another week and a half.
Yep, that is right, summer is winding down and the
school year is upon me and I can't wait!

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Julie
