Outfit of 30: Lt. Sparkles

When: Wednesday, July 13

I don't have much to say today except that I shocked myself with how quickly I pulled these two outfits together.
I am finding that when I don't think a whole lot and just go into my closet and grab some clothes that I can actually put together a pretty cool outfit in a matter of seconds.
I hope I can keep this up when I have to go back to work in another month and a half.
I could use some extra time once school begins again.

Presenting.... Sequin Heels!!!
They are fabulous, are they not?

One other thing...The painting that is hanging behind me is part of the Detroit Institute of Arts program to introduce art to the everyday.
They took replicas of famous paintings and placed them in unique locations in small towns through Southeast Michigan.
I was so excited when I spotted this one near our downtown area.
It is one of my favorites.
I love the intrigue and scandal of the Medici family.
If anyone out there watched the Borgias, the Medici family was present in that miniseries.
I actually have a magnet of this image hanging on our fridge at home.
I collect magnets.
I love being able to look at the side of our fridge and be transported back to the different events and places we have visited.

The bag was something I picked up last summer at my brother's graduation from basic training.
It is authentic Army gear and one of my favorite bags.
The amount of stuff that I can fit in this bag is AMAZING!
Seriously, it is crazy how much I can pack into this little bag.
I think the Government could make some extra cash by designing handbags for women that are space savers yet trendy as well.
Hmmm, maybe I should send an email suggesting this to President Obama.

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Julie

  7. Both outfits are so cute! I am in love with your sandals in your military outfit and that tank is awesome in your sparkles outfit.

Something I do when I'm working is hang pieces together in my closet so I have outfits I can grab at a moments notice. It really helps in the morning rush.
