Tan Shoulders

When This Was Worn: Saturday, June 18

Our bags are packed and the food has been purchased.
I guess that means it is time to leave for our annual family vacation to the Big Cedar Lodge in Rigedale, MO!

Otto and Ava are so excited this year. It is more exciting then waiting for Santa at Christmas. They cannot wait to ride their favorite ponies and swim in one of the 4 pools that the resort we stay at boasts.

Even better is that for the first time we will be at the resort over July 4th where we will celebrate with a huge fireworks display and concerts.
I have to say that I am looking forward to attending the annual champagne brunch on Sunday! That is my favorite part of the trip if I don't count all of the sun time that I get laying by the pool all week.

I have included a few peaks at the resort so enjoy!

I will be schedule posting while I am gone. I have a back log of pictures that I haven't shared so enjoy them and I hope all of you have a wonderful couple of weeks. I will be resuming my 30 for 30 outfits after our trip. I did pack a few things that I am going to be remixing but I am not sure if they will be posted until we return.

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Julie

  2. enjoy your vacation~

that resort and your outfit, look great!

i'll always pick a forest/mountain resort over a miserably hot beach one, ha

i actually want to vacation in that area once we move back from Sydney

  3. I have been eyeing this dress since last summer...I haven't found it on my clearnace rack. Believe me, I would know if it was there!!

It's back this year...maybe I'll get lucky this year. I also have a mild obsession with coral + navy...only mild though ;)

  5. Bug,

I totally suggest this place. It is fabulous. A bit pricey but completely worth it. I does get REALLY hot here and humid but there are 4 different pools that you can go to to escape the heat and the scenery is to die and go to heaven for. I am going to post a picture of what the view is like from our little deck. Simply amazing is all I can say!

    Sincerely,

    Julie

  6. Shelly,

This sounds very familiar:) I had been stalking the dress all last summer and didn't want to pay full price for it. I was shocked when I went to the store in NOVEMBER and that had one on the clearance rack. It was a little to big but I only paid $9 for it! I must be the lucky person to be in the right place at the right time when someone else had returned it. It is still to big but belting it not only solves this problem but it also helps to keep the top in place. I love a terrific belt so I can change it up a lot.

    Sincerely,

    Julie
