Blooming Delights
When: Saturday, April 30
Saturday was finally a somewhat nice day. Louie, the elephant from the local zoo, turned 8 years old this week so I packed the kids up for a day of animal fun for his birthday. We only had to travel 30 minutes south to arrive at the festivities, but it was like walking into another season entirely. Not only were all of the spring flowers out to greet us but the trees actually had leaves and blooms on them. It was so fantastic to be in the presence of Spring! I took the opportunity to snap a photo shoot while we were there. It was so nice to have fauna on the trees instead of all the pictures I have of skeletal naked branches. Now, if only Spring would reach it's arms 30 minutes north to bring it's beauty to us.
Enjoy!
XOXO,
Julie

Dawn,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! We love Louie the elephant. He has been a huge deal for everyone who lives in the Toledo area since he was born:)The Toledo Zoo is a beautiful zoo. I am excited to take more pictures there this summer. I usually take my kids there at least once a week. We are members.
Sincerely,
Julie
Monica and Whitney,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these jeggings. They are the perfect blend of jean and stretch. I don't know what I will do if they go out of style. Thanks for the compliment!
Sincerely,
Julie
