Toothed and Heeled

When: Tuesday, April 19

Egad this weather is horrible! Don't you love that word? I actually have to think in a mild British accent when I say it in my head. I know, I know, but it's the little things in life and what can I say, I am easily amused.

Anywho, back to the weather...snow, rain, wind, and then add some really cold temps to that mix. YUCK! I thought it was spring. Oh, wait, that's right...I live in Michigan this is spring for a second I forgot.

So, I will blame the weather for the lack of creativity in this photo shoot and try to ignore it's similarity to the photo poses from Monday. Besides, I kind of like this corner. It is bright and green. What isn't to love?

The outfit revolved around this lovely houndstooth coat. I love this coat! I wanted a statement coat and now I have one. Big bonus...I thrifted it so it was super inexpensive as well.

Even better are my patent leather heels that were also thrifted. They are my new favorite heels. I adore patent leather and these are beauties. The bottom wasn't even scuffed up so they were not really ever worn. I did a little research and they are vintage to boot. Yeah, for the Goodwill and for people who donate their "trash" to become my TREASURE!

Even though the weather is nasty here, I did feel like a LADY in this outfit. I felt like I was channeling another time when women dressed like this on a daily basis. I felt a little regal. That was a nice feeling for such a yucky day.

Enjoy!

XOXO,

J
