Elizabeth Ann, We Welcome You

When: Monday, April 18
My little niece was born on Sunday, April 17th at 6:12 in the  morning! It is so fabulous to have another little lady in the family, although if "she" had been a "he" I would be saying the same thing. There is nothing better than being an Aunt! I adore my little niece and now I have another little niece which is perfect!

My lovely and chic sister has the same skirt so I channeled both of our styles into this look in honor of her lovely new daughter, Elizabeth Ann or Lizzy for short. Elizabeth is my sister's middle name and was my brother-in-law's grandmother's first name. Ann is my middle name and my brother-in-law's mother's middle name. I named my daughter Ava Elizabeth with Elizabeth to honor my sister. My sister and brother-in-law's first child was named Julianne after me and Lynn for my mother's middle name.

A beautiful name for a beautiful little girl who continues the circle of sisterhood within our family, and that my friends, is a beautiful thing!

Enjoy!

XOXO,

J

  2. Pam,

Oh, thank you so much! That is so sweet of you. I do love this skirt and the tights with it really helped it pop. I have worn black tights with it but have really found that colored tights are my favorite.

    Sincerely and with thanks,

    Julie

  4. Congratulations!
New babies are just so sweet especially if you can give them back to the parents when you are done "playing" with them :)
What a cute look you have on today as well

  5. I know:) My mom-in-law asked if we were having any more kids (we have 2) and I said NO! I love my nieces but I am not a baby person. I like to "borrow" and "return" them often!

Thanks for the compliment on the outfit as well~

    Sincerely and with thanks,

  6. Daphne,

Thank you so much! We were all given a great surprise with the name. They changed their choice at the last minute and none of us knew:) The original name was Penelope(Penny for short, inspired by "Penny Lane", my brother-in-law loves the Beatles)or Kathrine.

    Sincerely and with thanks,

    Julie
