Bubbly Cheermeister

Ten years ago, when Laurie,

 lived out the young hippster's dream 

of leaving a small town for the

big city and moved to Chicago, we would avoid the

craziness of Michigan Ave and instead, head over

to State Street to shop whenever I went to visit.

State street has a lot of the same retail chain stores

as Michigan Ave with, usually, a lot less commotion.

So we made sure to head back over to our old stomping ground.

While Michigan Ave didn't have any hint to

the fast approaching holiday season, unless you

walked past the Disney store, State Street was a bustle

of holiday cheer with the

 Cheermeister award going to.....

MACY'S!

Laurie and I weren't really looking for anything

holiday related but once we discovered it we

were sucked in with oohs and ahhs.

To me, there is nothing better than a lovely glass

of bubbly and when we saw that our very own

Mawby was being served there was no turning back.

After a shared bottle and the soaking in of the beautiful

ambiance we headed back to the hotel

to get ready for the evening.
