Black and White Geometery

Living and working within minutes of each other has it's
pluses and minuses. I love the quick drive to work but
when I head out of the house I always take an inventory
of what I am wearing because it is VERY likely that I will
end up running into a current student, a former student,
a current parent, or a former parent.

I headed out to the mall last Wednesday so that O and A
could visit Santa with their cousins before the holiday rush
got underway on Friday. I was feeling really crummy, but
managed to pull together this look. A major plus was that
it was actually really comfortable which mattered more to me.
I was only half way thinking about running into anyone and was
thinking more about the fact that my sister would surely be
dressed to the nine's (and she was).

I actually managed to make it through the entire mall and to lunch
without running into anyone that I knew, or so I thought.

Fast forward to yesterday...

A former student stopped by to visit and as soon as she walked
in the door she started describing my Wednesday outfit.
Yep, she was driving through the parking lot with her mom
after shopping and spotted me.
Oh, the joy (and I do mean that) of living in a smallish area:)

Sweater Tunic: Modcloth, Skirt and Boots: TJ Maxx,
Turtleneck: H&M, Jacket: Marshall's

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Julie

  2. Our town is like that, too. Every time I venture out to Wal-Mart or Target, I see kids from the school. It's actually fun that way! =)

I just LOVE the print on that dress!
