My husband's comment when he saw me was, " Are those my old jeans?". No, but they are guys jeans which makes them much cooler than just purchasing women's jeans that are called boyfriend style.
I was inspired by both of the lovely ladies above for my outfit choice on Friday. Valentine and Unrestrained Optimism both have amazing style and I liked the relaxed look of the boyfriend jeans and peasant styled top white top that they are both sporting in their blog posts. I purchased the jeans for this post and haven't worn them since. I actually like the baggier look of the jeans in the above pictures better than my more relaxed fitting pair but they still worked to give me the look I wanted.

I liked the look that the heels gave better than flats so heels it was. I think that wearing the heels with the boyish looking jeans adds a flare of the unexpected. Either way I had several compliments on my style today. Also, a few questions as to whether this was my new style. The only answer I could give was maybe. I have to keep everyone on their toes anyway, even if it isn't:)
Enjoy!
XOXO,
Julie
