Kicking Up Some Dust

When: Thursday, April 21

I discovered this lovely little location a few weeks back. It is part of the Railroad Depot Museum in the town of Saline, MI. All of the buildings are original to this 1870's site. It is located behind a party store and a towing company so I wasn't suprised that I didn't realize that it was there.

This was the first day in an entire week where the sun was actually shining. I was completely being blinded by it but it was a relief after a week of snow, sleet, ice, rain, and freezing temperatures.
Who:Cardigan: (2010)
Checkered Shirt: Abercrombie & Fitch (Goodwill, $3, 2011)
White Button Shirt: Eddie Bauer (Gift from In-Law's)
Jeggings: New York & Co (Clearance $6, 2010)
Boots: Merona (Target, 2005)

Here is a picture of the entire livestock auction building and windmill.

  2. Pheobe,

Thank you! I have actually only worn them twice. They are deteriorating from sitting in my closet for so long. It has made them look really worn when they actually haven't been:)

    Sincerely and with thanks,

    Julie

  4. Cute outfit! That is something I would wear. Well, except for the jeggings, I'm still too chicken to give those a try.

  5. Meredith,

I was actually inspired to start wearing my boots by a few fabulous ladies from Georgia who I met in Charleston last summer. They wore their's all weekend and looked fabulous. I have to say I have always wanted to be a southern girl:)

    Sincerely and with thanks,

    Julie

  6. Vickie,

Thanks so much! This outfit was so comfortable to wear.

Jeggings Note: I tend to live in jeggings. I used to think I couldn't get away with wearing them, but they are the only pants that actually fit me well. My pants have a tendency to gap which is not attractive:( I don't know what I am going to do when they aren't in style anymore.

    Sincerely and with thanks,

    Julie
