I Post, You Post, Everybody Post, Just Post

Jessica, of What I Wore, posed a terrific question today to fashion bloggers everywhere. She asked: Do you feel pressured to dress to impress on a daily basis? Do you skip posting photos on the days you’re just not feeling it? (Please check out Jessica's outfit that she posted the questions for because it is a perfect example of post anyway. Just because you might not be feeling an outfit doesn't mean you don't look terrific and she does!)

Here are OAGJ's answers for y'all!

Do you skip posting photos on the days you’re just not feeling it? The truth for me is that I post regardless. I feel that, in order to stay true to myself, I need to post the picture no matter what. I guess I came to this philosophy when I set up the blog. OAGJ was to represent who I am and I never claimed to get it right everyday. Thank you, Lord, that I never claimed that since I am bound to fail here or there when it comes to putting an outfit together or fail at taking a picture that looks great. 

Do you feel pressured to dress to impress on a daily basis? A resounding YES! If you are going to take pictures of yourself and have to edit the pictures I can tell you that your view of your clothes will change. At the beginning of OAGJ (see the Tumblr Archive link for proof), my outfit combinations looked different then they do now. I had to realize that just because I looked at an outfit in the mirror for 10 seconds doesn't mean it is going to look good on film. UGH! I had some really bad combinations at first. The beauty of this is that I am learning as I go and that is the part that is so much fun!
