I'm Back!

30 for 30:Remix
Outfit: 23
When:
Sunday, February 20

I'M BACK!

Arrived at DTW at 10 pm last night and after picking up the luggage and my car (thankfully, it wasn't under 10 inches of snow as I had feared) I was home in bed by 11:30pm. Than it was up at 5:45 am and off to work as usual. I feel like I have been drifting through the day in this surreal fog. It feels like Monday instead of Friday and I can't seem to wrap my head around that fact that it is really Friday. I could blame it on jet lag but I didn't change time zones. Anyway, maybe after to relaxing weekend I will be back to some form of normal.

Sooooo, I bet you might be wondering how New York City was, huh, are you, are you?????

Getting Ready To Take Off At 5:45 AM on Sunday!

Dinner At This Amazing Italian Restaurant on Amsterdam and W 79th Street

It was AMAZING! All of my stereotypes of the city were blown to smithereens. I have decided that the next few posts will focus on a stereotype that I had before leaving on this trip and what I actually found to be the truth or shall we say the facts of reality. I didn't take a lot of outfit shots just because my time was mostly spent at Columbia in the Teacher's College Reading and Writing Project. That was of course, why I was there and yes, I even had homework to work on in the evenings. I can proudly say that I stuck to the 30 for 30 Remix and even when tempted to stray I found myself back to those original 30 items. I even was able to create a few new outfit combinations along the way. So while yes, I did wear clothing (for those of you who might be concerned) they were not the focus for the week.

Oh my goodness what will she be posting about then if she doesn't have outfit shots? Don't worry, I have lots of new material to work with and therefore I am going to share my favorite finds from the trip. This will include places to eat, shop, and relax. As well as unique style that I found inspiring as well as refreshing.

XOXO,

~J
